Incentives
for New and Existing Industry

Both
industrial prospects and existing industries are made aware
of a variety of incentives including grants, loans, training
assistance, and tax incentives. These efforts are coordinated
by the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce with assistance from
Campbell County's Joint Economic and Community Development Board,
the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development,
Tennessee Valley Authority, the East Tennessee Economic Development
Agency and the East Tennessee Development District. |
Training
The State of Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development,
Tennessee Valley Authority, the Tennessee Technology Center at Jacksboro,
Roane State Community College and Campbell County Career Center offer
a complete menu of training incentives and facilities to assist in developing
a quality work force to serve the employee's specific needs.
Job
Credit for Industrial Property
Most publicly owned industrial property in Campbell County can be obtained
for a low to moderate price. A job credit of up to $1,000 per job is available
to be applied to the cost of the property up to the purchase price on
county owned industrial property. Computation of the job credit: Average
number of employees at local location for the second full year of operation
times the applicable credit.
The Campbell County Chamber of Commerce can provide contacts, resources,
and other information needed for consideration by a business or industrial
prospect.
